Job Title: Operating Engineer Department: Facilities - Engineering (Justin Fenimore) FLSA: United States of America (Non-Exempt) Location: Philadelphia Campus ‌ JOB SUMMARY: The Operating Engineer operates automatically fired boilers to generate hot water that supplies heat or power for buildings. Operates absorber and related air handling units that supply chilled water for buildings. Operates Absorbers, Micro Turbines and Building Automation Software. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful incumbent will perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodations: Perform rounds of the campus to ensure proper operation of absorbers, boilers, air handlers and pumps.
