About this role

EMBL’s IT Services team delivers and supports IT infrastructure and services across our sites in Heidelberg, Barcelona, Rome Grenoble and Hamburg. The Desktop Support team in Heidelberg provides high-quality first-level and desktop support to a diverse, international user community, while also managing key Windows backend services. In addition, the team plays an important role in EMBL’s scientific training mission by providing and maintaining IT training environments for the EMBL Advanced Training Centre. We are looking for an experienced, service-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our Desktop Support team at EMBL Headquarters in Heidelberg.
