About this role

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 6:50a-4:00p Saturday (Rotation) 6:50a-11:00a or when all task have been completed. Collects clinical laboratory specimens and performs tasks associated with patient registration, order entry and specimen processing with general supervision. Performs waived testing with general supervision. Provides logistical support to team members and general assistance to customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs venipunctures. Collects other specimens and explains the proper collection procedures for specimens provided by the patient. Clarifies orders and pre-analytical test requirements when appropriate. Performs registration; requisitions lab orders and verifies billing information.…
