About this role

Job Overview: Key Responsibilities Lead daily fiber-splicing activities and coordinate work assignments for the splicing crew. Perform fusion splicing, ribbon or loose-tube fiber preparation, case/enclosure installation, and fiber organization. Test fiber using OTDR, optical power meter, light source, and related test equipment; identify and correct faults or high-loss events. Read and follow splice plans, fiber assignments, prints, schematics, and project specifications. Complete splice documentation, test results, redlines, and other required closeout records accurately and on time. Verify workmanship meets customer standards, project specifications, and company quality requirements. Troubleshoot damaged or impaired fiber facilities and support emergency restoration when required.…
