The Role As a Senior Staff Safety Analytics & Metrics Engineer , you will lead the definition, analysis, and communication of quantitative safety metrics that track safety performance across the robot lifecycle. This role is central to 1X’s mission to build credible, evidence-backed safety narratives that inform internal decision-making and external transparency. You will analyze validation results, simulations, and field data to inform deployment readiness while shaping public-facing safety reports rooted in real-world performance.
