SECTION I: Job Summary The QC Inspector – Coating performs inspection and testing of surface preparation and protective coating/painting activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. SECTION II: Job Analysis Duties & Responsibilities · Perform in-process and final inspections on surface preparation and coating/painting works. · Verify surface preparation (blasting profile, cleanliness) against specifications (e.g., SSPC/NACE standards). · Witness coating application, DFT/WFT checks, holiday testing, and adhesion tests per the ITP. · Verify environmental conditions (humidity, dew point, temperature) prior to coating application. · Verify materials and batch certificates against approved coating specifications.…
