Power Plant Chemist

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine sampling and analysis of boiler water, cooling water, condensate, and process water. Monitor boiler and cooling water chemistry to ensure compliance with operational specifications and industry standards. Analyse laboratory results, identify trends, and investigate abnormal findings. Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and calibration documentation. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment. Verify chemical dosing programmes and support adjustments where required. Assist in troubleshooting chemistry-related process issues to minimise equipment corrosion, scaling, and fouling.
