JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Coordinates the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure plant machinery and production processes function reliably and safely. Assists management in development of preventive programs and ensures safety regulations are followed. Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
