About this role

We are seeking motivated and dependable Apprentice Transmission Technicians to join our team in Palatine, IL . In this role, you will assist with the removal, installation, and repair of automatic and manual transmissions while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional automotive shop. Requirements 3–5 years of related automotive or transmission experience preferred Strong knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems Mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Benefits Competitive Pay: $26–$40 per hour Stable 40-hour work week On-the-job training and advancement opportunities
