Job Summary The Government Affairs Manager will report to the Managing Director, Government Affairs. This role will work directly with Members of the U.S. Congress and their staff to proactively promote policies that support American Electric Power (AEP) and its customers, and to defend against negatively impactful policies. The Manager will monitor and engage on legislative actions, committee hearings, congressional meetings, and other relevant activities to advance AEP’s federal policy priorities. They will coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external consultants to support advocacy efforts.…
