About this role
The Opportunity Bath, shower, and wash residents according to the NCP to promote resident personal comfort and well-being according to strict water temperature control procedures. Transfer/assist with resident transfers in and out of bed, to and from wheelchair, commode, or toilet, using appropriate Engineering Controls (Ceiling Lifts, Mechanical Lifts) and Personal Protective Equipment Controls (Transfer Belt) . Feed/assist with feeding residents during meals and nourishment/snack times. Refer to care plan for appropriate diet to each resident. Provide routine treatments (e.g. skin creams, bowel protocols) and care procedures to residents, under the direction of the Staff Nurse. Assist residents to travel about the facility. Assist residents to and from the Dining Room for meals.…
