About this role

Job Description Materials Engineer sources for engineering materials related to Electronics Components / OEM ; to improve the quality of suppliers' piece-parts in the area of responsibility. Identifies and evaluates alternative materials or suppliers to maintain competitive quality, assurance of supply and/or pricing of piece-parts. Provide technical support for NPI (New Product Introduction) & Product Transfer. Assists manufacturing in resolving material related issues, and also provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Responsibilities: Provides technical support in terms of specification interpretation, adequacy of existing documentation, disposition of non-conforming materials, and training on the usage of all inspection measuring equipment.…
