Job Description: Position’s Summary Location: Ottobrunn, Germany Hours per week: 37,5 Contract: Unlimited Reports to: Team Leader Research and Development Number of openings: 1 Your Tasks We are looking for a versatile and research-oriented Computer Vision & Optical Systems R&D Engineer to join our automated inspection team. In this role, you will be responsible for exploring, developing, and validating optical inspection methods and computer vision algorithms across all stages of technology maturation. You will bridge applied physics, hardware experimentation, and software development—designing experimental test setups, evaluating sensors and illumination techniques, and benchmarking algorithms to transform early-stage concepts into robust, reliable inspection solutions.…
