About the role We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Team Leader to lead the design of automated assembly, testing, inspection, and manufacturing equipment for automotive production. You’ll guide the team from concept through detailed design, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, manufacturable, and reliable machines. Key responsibilities Lead concept and detailed machine design for automation and special-purpose machines. Review 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs). Select and size actuators, pneumatic components, tooling, robots, and other mechanical components. Perform cycle-time, design feasibility, and tolerance checks.
