About this role
Akicita Federal is hiring Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) to provide full-scope obstetric and gynecological care at Rosebud IHS Hospital in Rosebud, South Dakota, serving American Indian and Alaska Native patients across outpatient clinic and emergency department settings.
- Attend and manage normal vaginal deliveries, including repair of first- and second-degree lacerations and episiotomies per facility policy
- Evaluate and stabilize obstetric emergencies including antepartum hemorrhage, eclampsia, preterm labor, PROM, ectopic pregnancy, and miscarriage
- Conduct initial prenatal intake examinations, including comprehensive health history and physical assessment
- Respond to the Emergency Department for OB on-call coverage within a timeframe not to exceed 60 minutes from notification…
