Department/Unit: Pathology Hospital Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00 Histologist III - Albany, NY Pathology The Histologist limited permit processes, embeds and stains tissue specimens in preparation for routine histopathological examination. This position requires the exercise of sound judgment and responsibility and works under the direct technical supervision of a senior histologist or technical specialist and under the general supervision of the director. This individual is responsible for keeping the surrounding area clean and organized. Job Requirements Must meet all of the New York State Education Department requirements as a Clinical Laboratory Technician or certified Histology technician.
