Amazon's North American Surface Transportation (NAST) Safety and Compliance organization assesses the tens of thousands of independent carriers that move freight across Amazon's middle mile in the US and Canada against Amazon's safety and compliance standards. Within this organization, the Risk Intelligence & Investigations team reviews carrier and account information to confirm that the businesses moving Amazon freight operate consistently with the records they are onboarded under.
