Machine Operator 3rd Shift

Job Description Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating winders, adjusting, and packaging finished goods, conducting quality checks, handling scrap production and assisting in scrap reduction while maintaining safety and quality standards. They are responsible for the direct supervision of production lines. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping on assigned lines. Understand and able to operate at least 9 blown lines. Perform regular quality checks and weight checks by reading and verifying work orders and skid plans. Responsible for ensuring scrap goals for the department are met by cutting, separating scrap and refeeding. Assist Maintenance Technicians during breakdowns to minimize downtime.…
