Job Description SUMMARY Performs repetitive production and packing operations to mass-procedure products such as preforms by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The Machine Operator has the responsibility to successfully complete the position training program found in the plant training manual. The Machine Operator has the authority to shut down production equipment to prevent the production of defective product. Has the authority to place Non-Conforming Product on Hold. Randomly checks parts produced every hour for any possible defects (including grease, flash, punctures, and other defects), to ensure that customer specifications are met.
