Job Description Night Shift Position 1. Job Overview Operation of the slitting machine while following customer quality specifications, ensuring dimensions, sizes of rolls, quantity and print quality are accurate. Perform rework/rewinding of rolls with identified defects from primary operations. 2. Job Dimensions • Support EHS Initiatives • Ensure proper and accurate set up of the machine including the following: o Review job folder and data on computer regarding job o Use hoist to hang rolls. o Review blueprints and complete slitting checklist to obtain accurate customer specifications. o Set web guides and knives pursuant to customer specifications. o Clean rollers, adjust gauges, adjust cores or spacers, and put lay down arms on slitter.…
