About this role

Overview Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. The CO+I CTO Office’s Energy Technology team is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer- Energy Systems focused on energy systems to provide technical leadership for capabilities that enable Microsoft datacenters to serve our customers. This role will shape how energy technology requirements are defined, evaluated, and deployed across Microsoft’s global portfolio, partnering closely with datacenter engineering, electrical infrastructure, policy, operations, and external technology partners.
