The Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM) at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to research in superconducting circuits, qubits, and quantum sensing. This project focuses on the development of superconducting qubits and circuits for use in quantum sensing experiments. The successful candidate will design, fabricate, and characterize superconducting transmon qubits and related devices, with measurements performed in a millikelvin dilution refrigerator. The researcher will collaborate closely with team members and external partners to carry out quantum sensing experiments and to develop reinforcement learning approaches that improve qubit performance and operation.…
