About this role
Argonne National Laboratory in the Energy Systems and Infrastructure Assessment Division is seeking a Postdoctoral candidate in thatwill develop and apply power system and electricity market models and tools to support engineering analyses of power grid planning and operations. Some of these tools will require the development of underlying optimization methodologies and analytics frameworks. The candidate will conduct research related to a wide range of topic areas including the analysis of energy and power systems, electricity market design and operation, power flow modeling, energy storage and large load integration, and interdependencies between power grid and natural gas systems.
