DEPARTMENT Water Utilities SALARY $20.67 - $25.84 JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, completes daily work orders related to meter services including installation, termination, lockouts, repairs and resolving problems in the field. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Turn on water service for new customers, turn off service for closed or delinquent accounts and record. Meter readings for final billings in assigned territory. Respond to emergency calls for assistance; investigate customer complaints related to pressure/flow, leaks, or high consumption. Replace defective meters and control valves, leaking gaskets, damaged boxes, and lids at the metering site. Assist on large meter crew performing maintenance on meters sized 3" to 10".…
