SALARY $61,733.50 - $77,166.85 JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision provides crisis intervention and other services to victims of violent crimes, in addition to working with volunteers from the community to provide immediate and follow up services to victims. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide crisis intervention/crisis counseling to victims of violent crime in person or by telephone. Review and assess police reports and determine appropriate level of service. Maintain case notes, documentation, data entry, and assist victims with paperwork on scene and in the office. Develop alternative solutions to problems, to evaluate courses of actions, and formulate appropriate recommendations for decisions. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Train and supervise volunteer and interns.…
