About This Position Under general supervision, this position assists in general administrative or research functions to develop a working knowledge of a targeted area in municipal government related to benchmarked professional positions, performing advanced internship duties. This rotation is designed to introduce the resident to the role of public health in assuring the health of refugees resettling in the United States. Goals: 1. Understand the common and unique health issues of refugees. 2. Understand the medical approach to screening and treatment of refugees as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 3.
