About This Position Purpose: Under limited supervision, this position inspects and reviews City Capital Improvement Plans (CIP) or Developer Reimbursement Projects to ensure compliance with contract documents, City codes, and safety and environmental requirements Job Description: Inspector C Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Performs multiple types of inspection/coordination of City of Austin construction projects (new and renovation work) for compliance of contracts, codes, specifications, health and safety, and environmental regulations. Performs inspections on CIP projects and developer reimbursements.…
