About This Position Job Description: Purpose: This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical and specialized duties to ensure compliance with applicable City codes and ordinances, for permitting plans and licensing requirements. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Review permits/applications and plats within the City of Austin design manuals and standards including generally accepted practices by ensuring applicable information is included.
