About the Role: Baird is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Municipal Underwriter to join our Municipal Underwriting Desk. This role supports all aspects of institutional municipal underwriting, including primary negotiated and competitive offerings, and assists with the operational and administrative functions essential to the desk’s daily activity. The position will also develop a strong understanding of municipal market dynamics, credit, pricing, investor demand and transaction economics, with increasing responsibility in the underwriting process over time. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Baird’s Fixed Income Institutional Sales team, Public Finance Department, and external market participants to ensure seamless execution of municipal bond transactions.…
