At Banner Baywood Medical Center , our Emergency Department is a very busy 68-bed Level III Trauma Center. We are a Certified Center of Excellence for stroke, orthopedics, and pediatrics. We care for both adult and pediatric patient populations. The Outpatient Observation Unit is a 26-bed dedicated observation unit. Most patients stay for less than 24 hours and are either discharged to home or admitted to an inpatient nursing unit.…
