About this role

The role – what you’ll do Barr is seeking a civil engineering intern to join our Hibbing team starting in January of 2027. In this hybrid role, you will support our Engineering and Design business unit, working on project teams involved with civil engineering and related technical field assignments. Project assignments may include civil design and analysis; AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting and design; field sampling and data collection; preparation of construction plans and specifications; spreadsheet preparation; short report preparation; laboratory testing; and construction inspection and observation.
