Summary Job Description: Anesthesia Technician-Operating Room Full-Time I First Shift (5x8’s) Surgical Services I Lexington Baptist Health Lexington Surgical Services Department encompasses several key areas: the Pre-Op Department, 20 operating rooms with a business office staff responsible for scheduling, a Postoperative Care Unit, an Endoscopy Department with dedicated pre- and post-op areas, and a Sterile Processing Department. Description Anesthesia Technician Operating Room: Assesses patient specific needs preoperatively i.e., resistant organisms, latex allergy, age specific and communicates with the surgical services team members regarding relevant patient and procedure data.
