Summary Job Description: Manager, Sterile Processing Full Time I First Shift Surgical Services I Lexington, KY Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordination of all activities relating to the distribution of patient-ready supplies and the reprocessing of reusable instrumentation, equipment, and supplies in SPD on a 24-hr. basis. Is responsible for the initial orientation and training of newly hired SPD staff. Provides for the continuing education (in-service) for staff. Assures the provision of patient care by addressing performance, patient, family, and physician issues/concerns as appropriate.
