Patient Access Representatives perform front office duties under the general direction of the Clinical/Practice Manager or designee. These duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients and visitors; verifying patients’ demographic and insurance information; registering patients; obtaining necessary signatures; determining patients’ out-of-pocket expense, collecting and documenting patient payments and/or financial counseling as appropriate; scheduling appointments; ensuring patient flow; switchboard; and medical records management.…
