About this role
Spend a summer designing and prototyping real mechanical hardware alongside the founding hardware team.
What you'll do
- Contribute to enclosure, structure, and mechanism design for Blackstar's devices.
- Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review.
- Work directly with senior engineers on prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturing.
What we're looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD and a solid grasp of tolerancing and manufacturing basics.
- Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks.
Nice to have
