Requirements Key Responsibilities • Administer backup policies, schedules, repositories, retention and monitoring for approved systems. • Investigate failed jobs, perform approved remediation and report unresolved risks and capacity constraints. • Plan and execute restoration tests and maintain evidence of recoverability. • Support disaster-recovery planning, technical runbooks, failover/failback procedures and simulation exercises. • Track recovery objectives and dependencies as confirmed by partner service and business owners. • Maintain backup inventories, job reports, exception registers and recovery documentation. • Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, database, application, security and business continuity teams.…
