About this role

As deputy news director, you are responsible for overseeing the operations of our Bloomberg Law team. You will be responsible for working with team leaders to pinpoint the most important stories of the day, coaching journalists to work those issues and to uncover and report larger trend pieces, features, and analysis, and find ways to bring as many eyeballs to our content as possible What you will do: • Set coverage priorities for your team, determining which are the most important stories of the day and bringing the resources of the newsroom to ensure we own those stories. • Coordinate with the central news team to get graphics or videos where appropriate, all to ensure our top stories are presented in the best way possible.…
