JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant (MA) is an integral member of the healthcare team, providing clinical and administrative support to physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations. The MA is responsible for preparing patients for visits, obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical histories, assisting with examinations and procedures as directed, performing Point-of-Care (POC) testing, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, and maintaining accurate medical records in the electronic health record system.
