Mobility Aide

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of nursing, and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice, the Mobility Aide plays a critical role in advancing patient care by helping patients safely achieve their maximum mobility potential. The Mobility Aide provides direct physical assistance and support to patients to achieve daily mobility goals, documents mobility activities within the electronic medical record, and maintains a safe environment to minimize fall risks. Operating within the scope of the clinical care team, the incumbent collaborates closely with nursing, rehabilitation, and physician staff to promote a culture of mobility and patient safety across the unit.…
