ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW The BNL Environmental Protection Division’s (EPD) mission is to ensure that the Laboratory operates effectively while meeting regulatory requirements of numerous environmental laws including: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), multiple cultural resource laws, Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Department of Energy monitoring and reporting requirements. The group interfaces with a broad spectrum of workers across the Lab to support compliant operations as well as collect, review, and report environmental data to DOE and regulatory agencies.…
