Leads the Planning Team charged with scheduling production activities in support of the assembly plan. Develop lot sizing models to minimize setup and inventory carrying cost Compares customer demand to stated capacity levels and coordinates action plans where problem areas are identified. Retrieve, analyze and evaluate production demand. Ensures the production plan meet customer demand and minimum inventory levels. Effectively communicates production plan to manufacturing. Monitor raw materials, WIP and finished goods inventory levels to minimize investment dollars. Utilize established cycle count processes and manage system planning parameters to control inventory levels. Establish and maintain inventory locations by utilizing visual management applications.…
