Job Description I. JOB PURPOSE The manufacturing engineer at Boyd Thermal Wetumpka provides technical expertise to support development, implementation, and fabrication of custom thermal management solutions. This engineering position serves as a role between a product and process engineer. II. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/JOB FUNCTIONS Cost Estimating: Review product requirements to assess manufacturability. Prepare cost to manufacture estimates to the sales team for new products. Maintain system costing for existing products. New Product Introduction (NPI): Implement complete manufacturing data packages to allow for successful execution by the factory team. This includes ERP system creation of part numbers, BoMs, routes, and ECOs along with CAD models, drawings, and work instructions.…
