About this role
Supports diagnostic imaging services by assisting imaging technologists and clinical staff in providing safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care. Prepares patients for imaging procedures, transports patients and equipment, maintains imaging rooms and supplies, and performs clerical and support tasks to ensure timely workflow within the imaging department. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Assists technologist in capturing, processing, and managing images. Escorts patients to and from radiology and prepares patient for the exam. Stocks rooms with supplies and linen. Works in radiology PACS to send images to other hospitals. Sends images to other facilities via PowerShare. Assists Technologist to position, transfer and properly immobilize patients as required.…
