About this role
SUMMARY: The Sheet Metal Mechanic supports Contracting Operations by performing sheet metal installation. Responsible for assisting the team in other areas if sheet metal work is not available. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Install sheet metal products, such as ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring proper fit and alignment Plan, layout, and fabricate Ductwork parts, components, and assemblies Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques, soldering of water lines, brazing of refrigeration lines Must be familiar with various HVAC equipment such as air handlers, package units, condensers, coils, exhaust fans, etc.…
