Medical assistant

Position Summary Under the direction of the Ambulatory Clinical Manager, Practice Manager, and supervising Licensed Independent Practitioner, the Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an ambulatory care setting. This role is responsible for patient intake, vital signs collection, care coordination, patient education, and clinical support services for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The Medical Assistant promotes patient- and family-centered care while supporting Brown University Health's mission, vision, values, and commitment to excellence.
