SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Hospital Attending Physician/Hospitalist, in collaboration with clinical nursing staff, is responsible for evaluation of, and development of treatment plans for the inpatients. Assists in the care and management of medical patients to include, but not limited to, admission history and physical, ongoing assessment and intervention, coordination or inpatient, and discharge planning. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patient.
