About this role

⠀ The IOS Operator is responsible to the Lead Instructor. The Core role is Operational Support to training serials by controlling the simulator IOS station and contributing to role play activities to enhance the immersive experience for trainees. This includes preparation for each training sortie, support to delivery (e.g. role-playing crew positions), and debrief activities as required. For the C-130J IOS role the position requires the ability to contribute to complex combat airlift scenarios including multi-tasking to run the simulator devices and act as key crew and non-crew roles required for tactical and non-tactical training outcomes.
