About this role
What awaits you? Perform and deliver accurate, high-quality metal analysis results and technical reports within agreed timelines to support business and project requirements. Act as the laboratory expert for metal characterization, compositional analysis, microstructure evaluation, and material performance assessments. Lead material failure investigations, including fractography, corrosion, wear, and metallurgical root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions. Develop, validate, and continuously improve analytical methods and testing procedures for new materials, products, and applications. Operate and interpret results from advanced characterization equipment, including Optical Microscopy, SEM/EDS, XRD, EPMA, ICP-OES/ICP-MS, GD-MS, and hardness testing systems.…
