About this role

Provide specialist protection-system studies and engineering advice to reduce network risk, strengthen equipment protection and improve the reliability and effectiveness of electricity-network protection arrangements. Key Responsibilities Conduct studies on protection of the electrical network and identify measures to mitigate system and equipment risks. Assess protection-related issues affecting network security, reliability and operational performance. Review monitoring and quality of electrical equipment and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. Provide protection-engineering input to network development, new substation, generation and operational studies where required.…
