About this role

Role Purpose Develop short- and medium-term operating plans that maintain continuity of supply, system security and economical dispatch while coordinating generation availability, transmission outages and GCC interconnection requirements. Key Responsibilities • Determine secure and economical operating modes and allocation of generation across power plants and generating units. • Forecast short- and medium-term electrical loads and assess generation availability required to meet demand. • Assess scheduled outages of transmission assets and generating units and identify mitigations for system impacts. • Coordinate generation energy-availability requirements to support annual maintenance planning. • Analyze critical network loading and recommend short- and medium-term operational solutions.…
